Great game tonight.
It's clear Miami has motivational issues. Maybe it's because it's the regular season, but that's three games in one week where they've shown very little effort, and got burned twice for it. Put this with their defensive issues, and it's clear Miami has things to work out between now and the playoffs.
Then, there's Wade. Chuck hit the nail on the head pre-game; his game relies heavily on athleticism, and now that it's declining, he's become much less effective. If Wade wants to prolong his career, he needs to develop a post game. For a guard, he's incredibly strong, so backing down other guards shouldn't be an issue.
The reason that NY has beat Miami with ease is primarily because the Heat have suffered on their perimeter defense while NY has brought in plenty of shooters. That's a huge advantage for the Knicks; once our shooters get into a groove, I suspect we should at least be able to keep up with Miami.
