Celtics need to treat this game as a Game 7.

This game will be on at 3 pm my time.  That's stupid.

Let's GO Celts! Do this today and get a little rest. No need to extend this just for the fans. We prefer you just close them out today and send them to the beach.

Little reason to think sixers will lose, but C's need to play their game and make it tough on them.  Maybe C's pull it out, but if not there's always Game 5 at TD Garden.

There was little reason to expect the Sixers to lose game 3 but now that they are 0-3 there are many reasons for them to lose.
1. They don't want to come back to Boston to be embarrassed.
2. They want to get this nightmare over with asap.
3. There are much better rates at the beach resorts now than in a couple weeks.
4. They ran out of confetti after game 3.
5. Kevin Hart may get beat up by some teenager in Boston.

Go Celtics, I hope we get up at some point and the 76ers quit.   I am beginning to think that Embiid and Simmons although great talents are empty to some degree.

I think Brown may come back strong this game and get to his old self.

Few things...Boston needs to survive the first quarter and half. They will get everything Philly has left.

If they can get the lead heading into the 4th, feel like the Sixers fold. They seem to be pretty mentally weak.

Boston needs to treat tonight like a game 7. Get this over with. Get a week's worth of rest if possible esp for Brown.

This series does not go past game 5 in the Garden if Philly wins tonight.

Win tonight would give Brown rest he needs, Next game wouldn’t be until Sunday. Vs Cavs. Don’t want Philly series to drag out.

i hope we can close tonight, also agree with the above posters that Brown can have extended rest for the next series. And it will be an amazing confidence booster for this young squad without their two stars, excellent experience

Yeah, I'm really not digging the 6 PM EST start time.

I think PHI, despite some glaring flaws, will play the game of their lives and the Celtics simply have to weather their runs again. Also, play smarter basketball (limit the turnovers especially) and make it harder for them on defense (I thought they did relatively well Game 3, but there were large stretches where they gave up too many open looks, which won't cut it against a desperate team now).

Hoping Tatum stays aggressive and puts up 20+ while Horford continues the dominant play on both ends of the floor. Brown and Morris I feel will be the X-factors tonight. I feel we might need at least 15-18 points from each.

I ultimately think the game will go either one of two ways. One, Boston comes out and pretty much blows them out and wins comfortably (PHI is demoralized and give up by the 2nd half pretty much), OR PHI comes out firing and plays the game of their lives to earn a comfortable victory themselves (double-digit win). Hopefully it's the former. I feel we deserve a comfortable win after the last few nail biters  :P

I'm also curious to see if PHI gives Fultz any playing time in Game 4. Do they really have anything to lose at this point?

Just means you need to move to the right coast ;)

Hoping for a win but expecting a loss : if there is one game Philly should get, it's this one... and we know how hard it is to actually complete a sweep, even the Pierce/KG/Ray Celtics had trouble with it.

On the other hand, I do think Philly is full of frontrunners who like to talk and put up stats but disappear when it matters most so getting an early lead and sustaining their runs could make them cave. Smart is probably the biggest X factor in this one, if he shoots well and creates havoc while avoiding dumb turnovers, we should get it !

Closeout game on the road. If Philly can't win this one, then it will be a devastating indictment of the Process..

I'd love to close it out and give Brown as much rest as possible to get his hamstring right, especially after the last two games have been so close.

Come on Cs!
