I love our announce team using that shot....where KO took 3 seconds to pump fake....as an example of how "just shooting it!" is the best way to take a jump shot

Max is right. The NBA needs to change that pump-fake call. If you go into the defender rather than him come into you it shouldn't be a foul.

I thought they did change it this season. Didn't they say you can't jump into the defender. I remember they called against the offensive player early season, I think LOL.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

That up fake is a habit that has to be broken.

I believe it was the kicking out of the leg that they put an emphasis on this year. But even if they did change it, they're not calling it in the games. Nearly 90% of those calls have the shooter jumping forward into the defender, and to me that's an offensive foul more than a defensive foul because the defender should have the space to go straight up. Now if the defender jumps and comes forward, that's a different situation.

It's the same as Kaminsky's over reliance on spin moves - he is going to get STRIPPED in the NBA if he tries that move more than once a game.  Those moves absolutely kill in my rec league but they don't work quite so well in the NBA.  Plus, KO is a 7 footer!  Who is blocking him at the 3 point line?

I was agreeing with you. I just thought they changed the offender jumping forward too, it's probably more wishful thinking LOL. I know the leg kick changed but they still don't call it like they should.

So, what is Brad's deal with going with Crowder over Smart tonight? What am I missing?

If KO gets the shot off quickly enough, he won't have to worry about getting the shot blocked. When and if he up fakes he should either step back or step up and get fouled.

My guess is so Pressey doesnt have to run pg.
