Does anyone think we'll take a look at Jalen Hood-Schifino?

He's a 6'6 combo guard with a 6'10 wingspan.  He could have the length to be good defensively.

I guess his main question is his athleticism/quickness.  But his body looks ready to compete against men in the NBA.

EDIT: Nevermind.  Lakers just SCOOPED him at #17!

I have seen him talked about as a homeless man's Evan Turner. Lots of midrange jump shots. Lacks range. Good all-round game with rebounding and passing. A creator who needs the ball in his hands. Doesn't play well off ball. Doesn't create high value offense. Not good enough to be a creator in the NBA. No clear role for him in the NBA. And a bad defender.

Sounds like a bust. Good LAL took him. A missed opportunity for them to improve their team. And they do need to improve their team. Their supporting cast isn't good enough for a title push.

Yeah, I agree. Reminds me of Talen Horton-Tucker.

Wemby is going to be a major star and attraction in this league. Beyond the obvious talent and size, he seems like a genuinely good guy and humble, but also has good charisma. Reminds me a lot of Giannis.

I agree. He’s very likable. Can’t wait to see how he does in SL.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Moving on if they are available at #25 who would you rather take for the Celtics Brandin Poziemski, Brice Sensabaugh, or Dariq Whitehead?

Ah, Jaime Jaquez. Not wild about that.

Another small 6-6 forward. Like Jimmy Butler and C Martin. Jaquez has a somewhat interesting game but I feel this is too early for him and he is not needed on that team.

If I weren't a Celtic fan, I'd probably cheer for the Miami Heat. Love their players and who they bring in on their team.

Ooh, the Warriors are next. Fun.

It would be nice to see them get some help for their team. I didn't like seeing them struggle this past season or get knocked out by an unexceptional LAL team.
