I've been reading this blog nearly every day for years but have never posted anything.  But this was too good to pass up.  Will definitely be there unless I have tickets to the game.

I love that we are pulling in the lurkers.  I've always wondered about the silent majority.  :)

Just your Name label alone brings back good memories of Kevin Mchale abusing opponents in the post back in the day..fancy footwork and all. TP for you.

This get-together is a GREAT idea. I'll be in class that day (weekend Hybrid classes), but maybe we could arrange another get-together like this in Mar or Apr?

My oldest son and I have NEVER been to a Celtics game, and I promised him that since I retired from the service we would definitely go to one.

I am not coming to this gathering, but if I ever do get to Washington I want to go to the Chinese Restaurant that Red held his weekly friends meetings at (if they allow women in the door, lol , I know Red had no use for women in sports.

Update: We have a location picked out and reserved!

We'll meet at the Cleveland Park Bar and Grill where we have the roof deck reserved for our group.  How cool is that?

here's the website: http://www.cpbargrill.com

if you are anywhere near the area, we'd love to see you come out
