Kabengele has some good vertical pop
What is his 2nd leap / 2nd effort plays like?

I remembered / misremembered something being wrong about leaping but it sounds like his 1st effort leaps have been good.

So after he goes for the block, can he make that 2nd effort to go get the ball? Or is he finished after that first effort. If he mistimes a jump for a rebound, can he go back up a second effort for that ball or is he done?

Begarin is still only 19.  He has the size and athleticism.  Earning 10 free throws is impressive.  He still needs to improve his shooting before he can help the team. I’d stash him another year.
He is a really good athlete. Only turns 20 in August, but I agree that another year in Europe would help.

I've been ducking in and out of watching, so I haven't been able to properly tell. What I can see is that his initial jump is high and also quick - gets off the ground and to his apex very fast. He has a pretty good motor.

Williams is the real deal for passing the ball with 2 assists and probably 5 missed shots off great passes in 15 min.  Also 6 rebs and a block.

Too bad we can't put Williams and Kabengele into one player.

It looks like he can defend the rim and finish alley oop style.  He also shoots well.  His feel is lacking which you can see in his passing and falling for fakes.

I thought he was one of the few bright spots. His passing was better than I expected, shooting was worse.

I thought I saw one block. Another time the announcer called it a block, but he really altered the shot so much that it just appeared that way.

But remarkably went 2-5 from 3. Although the 3 misses were really bad ones.

The main reason he was 3-11 was because he missed like 4 layups as he was trying to be aggressive. I don’t mind that. Eventually he’ll learn how to finish.

Definitely an all around good game with 3 blocks and 2 steals as well. Stuffed the stat sheet. And only one turnover.
