Sources: NBA informed teams via memo today that, as it stands, non-vaccinated NBA players without a valid medical reason will still be ineligible to play in Toronto for the 2022-23 season.
I guess Kyrie isn’t getting traded to the Raptors, lol.
They could clear so much salary.
Anunoby, Young, Hernangomez
for
Irving, 1st
Then just send Irving home, but only play half his salary and collect a 1st in the process. If a trade arises in which you can send Irving out as an expiring you can do that as well (or maybe the Lakers finally decide to give up multiple 1st's to get him). I suspect the Raptors think Anunoby has better value than that, but who knows. It would be an interesting trade.
I would hope so. That's terrible value for Anunoby. Irving is negative value and it would probably end up being a late 1st. If the Raptors put Anunoby on the market, they'd get flooded with good offers.
His name has been floated in a bunch of trades and he is still there.
