Royce O'Neal for a first is a little bit of a bummer. Hard to know if the Celtics had that opportunity but he would've been great here.

Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger

Is there any play to get Durant without offering one of JB/JT?

Where are you seeing that?

20-21 Royce O'neal would be great depth, but his defense was pretty meh last year and he doesn't stretch the floor. Still, maybe in a different system he would be better.

Positive defensive and offensive RAPTOR a few years running. Can defend most positions really well and a good shooter. Not a great creator but a pretty darn good bench glue guy at the wing.

White/Thies/Grant/Pritchard/Nesmith work in trade machine, but no way they would take that, and we'd have no bench.

The Nets have to send out matching salaries. They don't have a TPE to just take him in, right?

No.  Teams could easily beat that.  It will take Brown + other stuff.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I met him in Person when he was playing for the Celtics summer league team. with Smart and RJ Hunter, been rooting for him since then. good kid.

They have an $11 million one from the Harden trade.

11.4 from jettisoning Dinwiddie, which is more than enough for O'Neal's 8.8 million salary.

Royce O'Neale is a fantastic pickup for BKN. Exactly what they need. A solid defensive wing who is low usage and can hit some open shots.

Bad loss for Utah. Another step backwards for them. That team might not make the playoffs next year.

Means Brown's gone? The Net's Brown, not ours.  ;D
