So with Mo Bamba re-upping with Orlando they now have:

G: Suggs, Fultz
G: (nobody)
F: F.Wagner, T.Ross
F: Banchero, J.Isaac
C: Mo Bamba, W.Carter, M.Wagner

Interesting team. Lot of depth in the frontcourt. That frontcourt could be pretty competitive. Their backcourt needs help though. I like Suggs to take a big step forward next year and be solid but he needs some legit help in the backcourt. Some secondary ball-handling / passing and shooting.

Bringing Gary Harris back could be a good short term marriage for them.

Giving up a first for Royce O'Neale is going to be a painful decision if BKN cannot walk back this Durant trade demand.

O'Neale is a fine role player on a title contender but it is absolutely useless to give up a 1st for him to play on a non-contender.
My understanding was that the first was a "lesser of" type among multiple teams

Yeah, likely the Philly pick.

You've forgotten Cole Anthony. They need to consolidate some of that front-court depth for some guard help.

Knicks look solid heading into next season.

G: Brunson, D-Rose
G: RJ Barrett, Quickley
F: Fournier, Reddish
F: Randle, Toppin
C: M.Robinson, Hartenstein

Brunson could make a big difference to that team. NYK were a team crying out for a real PG. RJ Barrett still improving year to year. Randle was awful last year; surely he must be better next year. Toppin improved as last year went on. D-Rose's return will make an impact too.

Look a solid low to mid 40s win team.

JaVale McGee is a significant loss for PHO. They are set to lose Ayton as well. Suddenly very thin in the middle. That was a big strength for them last season.

Moving further and further away from title contention.

And they took back Gary Harris so I guess they are done.

I'd be surprised to see Anthony relegated to the bench after starting his whole career

I wonder how Dallas will lineup

G: Luka, Dinwiddie
G: Tim Hardaway
F: Bullock, Finney-Smith
F: Christian Wood, Kleber, Bertans
C: D.Powell, J.McGee

(1) Finney-Smith is pretty limited offensively to play SF but I guess that is where he'll need to play some for now.

(2) Dinwiddie is the only other ball-handler and only other passer on the team outside of Luka. That isn't enough. They need more secondary playmaking.

(3) With two non-skilled centers in D.Powell and McGee, it'll be harder to get minutes for C.Wood at center without having to bench one of those guys. Kleber, DFS and Bertans are interesting floor spacers at PF next to Wood at C.

(4) A lot of passive / low usage offensive players after Luka, Dinwiddie and Hardaway.

Slo Mo to the Wolves is a great get. A perfect glue guy for Edwards and Towns to help fill that gap at the 3/4. He can help stitch that team together.

That really sucks for them. New Year-ish would be his return date.

As injury-prone as Robert Williams

Not sure if it’s been posted about elsewhere, but I think the recent domestic violence issue in the NBA is worth mentioning - this little preamble can also serve as a warning for anyone.

I thought Miles Bridges might have fumbled his money a bit with the smoking / purple drank image circulating, but it turns out he is just a genuine piece of garbage. Beat the daylight out of his partner, and she now has a concussion, a broken nose, signs of strangulation, bruising, a rib contusion and a strained neck muscle. Terrible.

Shams Charania: Free agent Gary Payton II is finalizing a three-year, $28 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium

Thought GSW would keep him. Love that for him and I like his fit in Portland.

Big loss for GSW. They wouldn't have won that title with Payton. He was a game-changer for their perimeter D. Their only plus perimeter defender outside of Wiggins. Their only plus guard defender. GSW were soft on the perimeter without Payton.

Nice pickup for Portland. Payton a sort of a ying to Anfernee Simons yang. I like them as a combo. Similar to Payton and Poole for GSW. Good bench duo. They can start Lillard and Josh Hart in the backcourt. Nice guard depth. Bledsoe as the 5th guard behind them. Strong guard rotation.
