But hey… Boston picked up an option on Morgan and wants to sign Hauser to a long term deal. We are all set.

Patty Mills did not pick up his $6.2 million player option with the #Nets, according to sources close to the player. He is a free agent.
Man he looked washed in our series. I prefer PP.

Does Patty expect to get more than that as a free agent?  I would definitely be surprised if somebody signs him for more than that.  Or maybe Brooklyn is that dysfunctional, he's willing to give up a few mil to be anywhere else?

Eh, both of those moves are reasonable and don’t preclude other options (depending a bit on what they do with Hauser).

Morgan’s option is still completely unguaranteed — he’s just a training camp and summer league body unless he earns something more.

I find the Murray/Trae pairing odd. Both need the ball to be most effective. I'm guessing they won't be getting a combined 19 assists per game this year.

The taxpayer TPE is ~$6.5 million, so he could get a small raise in addition to finding a better situation.

I hope so. Too many roster spots wasted on marginal players. And that includes Theis.

Murray to the Hawks for Gallo, 3 firsts, and one swap.

There's no way I think Murray will succeed next to Young. Feel bad for him really.

Interesting haul for the Spurs. Atlanta is so unpredictable, they could end with a couple of valuable picks.

We could've matched that...

Apparently the '25 & '27 picks are both unprotected.

Yep. That is what is frustrating. We always think Boston is going to be a factor in the off-season and in the end they just make very minor moves. I’m not asking for a lot but if management thinks PP, Nesmith and Hauser are the answers off the bench then we are done.

Beal just comfortable playing out his career with a mediocre team that’s going nowhere.

There are different ways to define success. One of those ways is making a guaranteed 250 million dollars over 5 years.

Hard to fault him.

Would he not be successful if he took a max deal for $180M and played on a contender vs taking the super max at $250m from Washington? Beal clearly doesn’t care about winning and the money is all that matters to him.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Hauser and Nesmith probably won't even get off the bench.
