The Wheel of Time on Prime was pretty good, though I never read the book series and I don't know if that matters.

Some other good Amazon Prime TV shows that are good include:
The Outer Range
Reacher
The Terminal List
Jack Ryan

Would like to add the following which were recommended to the above list.
Man in the High Castle
The Expanse
Fleabag
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
The Boys

The Expanse got a little hokey at times, but was very possibly the most visually enjoyable sci-fi I've ever seen in any format.  Some really stunning stuff.

Decent series for sure. It’s no Firefly, though. That show was so good…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Sneaky Pete on Prime is good… Reminds me of Rounders/The Italian job. Giovanni Ribisi is excellent.

Finished HOD on HBO and ROP on Prime. Think I enjoyed 1 episode from each series through the first season. Finale for HOD and episode 6 for ROP. Overall, both shows were a huge disappointment.

I didn’t see ROP.

I’m curious about your disappointment… did you love GoT and think this was far inferior? Did you read the books (I didn’t). Are you also put off by dead babies?

I liked GoT and HoD. Neither changed my life, but I think both are entertaining shows. 8/10 for both series.

The House of the Dragon hasn't been perfect, but it's certainly been an huge step up from the last season of GoT. I'm not completely caught up yet (just finished episode 6), but the show actually encouraged me to buy Fire and Blood, the book it's based on.

Rings of Power just looks boring as hell, and that is the general vibe everyone who watched it has said to me. It also rubs me the wrong way that Amazon descended like vultures on LotR in what seemed like the second after Christopher Tolkien died

I thought HOD had weak characters pretty much across the board. Guess Prince Daemon was decent, but that’s about it. Acting and dialogue was really poor at times and even the sets/wardrobe seemed cheap. I have no idea why the creators felt it necessary to have a graphic birthing scene every 2-3 episodes. There were only a few battle scenes throughout the 10 episodes. The dragons were cool, especially in the finale, but overall, I thought the worst season of GOT was still better than the first season of HOD.

I just finished Friday Night Lights. I’m surprised I never watched it. I loved it, if you can get past every game ending on a score on the last play. 😂

One of my favorite sports movie, along with Any Given Sunday and Remember the Titans. AGS was more about action, Titans was about a great heartwarming story, but Friday Night Lights I think is the most realistic in terms of experience playing high school football.

I love Norm never watched his show - love his clips from talk shows. Where is NORM (where do I find the show)?

Just finished Halt and Catch Fire on AMC app.

Wow, what great writing and acting.

Highly recommend it. Heard about it recently from Zach Lowe on his podcast LOL.

So good, right? I posted about it earlier in this thread. I think it’s the fourth best series on AMC behind Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Mad Men.

Finished the first season of HBO’s Peacemaker. Took me a couple episodes to get into it, but I thought it was entertaining enough. I’d give it a solid “B” rating.

Good dark sitcom - Dead to Me.

If anyone has watched Longmire - what do you think?
I watched first episode and it was OK, not great. Not sure if I want to invest more time in it.
