Butler deserves all the praise he received for his play the last two games. He got the Heat closer to beating us than KD or Giannis.
Disagree. Giannis pushed it to 7 games. Don't give Butler more credit than he deserves.

One of them enabled the other, not sure which gets the most credit, but Zarba has his fingerprints all over game 6.  Not looking forward to seeing him in the finals, which we clearly will.

We're probably getting the whole lot in the Finals lol (Marc Davis, Brothers, Foster, Zarba). Crazy thing is, in that whole group Marc Davis might actually be the "best one" lol. That's the sad state of NBA refs nowadays

Every time I think I’m okay with a ref, he disappoints me, so I’m not saying anything about Marc Davis.

I just hope the Celtics get out of this habit of only playing real well when their back is against the wall. Also in playing like trash at home and then great on the road.

I've actually come to respect Foster. Maybe in part because he reffed a couple of deciding games that we WON (Game 4 Nets, Game 7 Heat). What has been our win-loss record with him these playoffs?

Do you guys think Udoka would rest Timelord for Game 1 which would give him a full weeks rest for Game 2?

I believed from day 1, hence my angst with all the people who were, and are, still hyper negative throughout the blog and in the game threads, especially.

You go to a bar to watch a game, you are surrounded by people wearing your team's colors, and you don't hear them screaming obscenities at the team they support. What you hear is cheers and talk of other games and how good a player is doing. As ND general chit chat

What I don't hear  are comments denigrating the team calling them stupid, dumb, idiots, wussies, lazy, mentally weak......blah, blah, blah. Or attacking the coach, as so happens here.

Roy might think some here are fans but are just negative and it comes from a place of love. I don't. I think the place is full of generally negative trollish people who as an aside, like the Celtics.

Things and people I cherish and love, I do not treat poorly, denigrate them, insult them regularly or show no open, true love for. Treating the Celtics negatively, like a large contingent in this community does, and saying "well they deserve it." hits a little to hard and close to me being the former husband of a domestic violence advocate who heard everyday those same words from men/women that beat their significant others. "Oh I love her but she deserved it because..."

The media praising the loss of the Miami Heat more than the Celtics winning it.

Always talking about the Jimmy Butler short 3 and NBA taking away Strus's 3-pointer outta nowhere that could've ended the Celtics lol. Typically Boston-hating folks
