Per Woj: Harrison Barnes to Kings for Z-Bo and Justin Jackson.

Now we know why they didn't beat the Porter offer.

The Kings are trading Justin Jackson and Zach Randolph to the Mavericks for Harrison Barnes, league sources tell ESPN.

Dallas is a sneaky FA destination this off-season. With a key trade or a waive/stretch, they could have a max slot. That would be a desirable place to play.

Welp, looks like Sacto is going hard for the playoffs (for whatever reason), to the detriment of our pick from them. Granted, that's not much to give up for Barnes.

I didn't love the Alec Burks trade for the Kings, but this one is a no brainer.

I like their young pieces: Fox, Bagley, Giles, and Hield (in that order). Barnes was probably the best available option (at a low price) to add to a team lacking playoff experience. They had no incentive to tank. Crazy as it sounds, the owners want to make a little playoff money and generate a buzz.

Wow, and here we thought we'd be glamorizing over the SAC lottery pick since last year.

Now it's just gonna be a bad pick with the Kings SUDDENLY making the playoffs for the first time in 12 years?  :(

Playoff push for them.  Makes sense.  Dallas also positioning themselves to go hard at a big name free agent.

Meh, I've never been a huge Harrison Barnes fan.

My first memory of him is all the bricks he shot in the 2016 finals with the Warriors. Good chance the Kings pick still falls in the lottery.

lol can't hate on the kings. those kids are playing their asses off. it hurts our pick but I can't be too mad about it.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Stupid Kings! This deadline hasn’t been kind to us with LAC selling and SAC buying. Guess we have to hope for Dallas, Minny, and/or (ughhh) the Lakers to make the playoffs (which also makes their pick worse) to keep SAC out.

I am likely giving up on the Clips pick, but crazier things have happened!
