Really interested to see what New England does at QB now. Do we go with Stidham? Try and trade up to pick a guy like Herbert or Love? Look to free agency (like Winston? I don't think our cap situation is very friendly right now though).

Sucks for guys like the McCourty twins who have probably seen their last chance at another ring depart, but hey, they got to win one together.

Gotta be thankful we witnessed the greatest era in NFL history!
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)

PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

That in no way can overshadow Brady's long list of accomplishments in New England:

· Three NFL Most Valuable Player awards (2007, 2010, 2017), which ties him with Jim Brown, Brett Favre and Johnny Unitas for second most all time behind Peyton Manning.

· Fifteen Super Bowl records.

· Four Super Bowl MVP awards.

· A record 13 conference title-game appearances.

· A record nine conference championships.

· A total of 17 division championships, easily an NFL record (Peyton Manning is next with 12).

· Leading the Patriots to at least 12 regular-season wins 13 times, the most all time.

· Becoming the first 42-year-old quarterback in football history to start every game in a regular season.

not too shabby for a guy picked in the later part of the draft. I wonder which team he will sign with next

Also who will be Pats next QB?

Can the Pats somehow trade for Nick Foles?

those dummies felger and mazz will be happy

they wanted him gone

but really this mess over the offseason went on for too long

Pats weren't willing to give him the 3 years (highest paid) that he wanted

And now either some team has or he just wants to leave because he is offended

Wow I really didn't think he would do it. They must have had an irreversible breakdown  :(

I'm sure they lowballed him, considering people like Tannehill were getting $30m a year, maybe Bill didn't want to give a 43yo that amount.

Good luck Tom and thanks for the 20 years of success. I will miss you.

One thing that may affect the Patriots willingness to spend is that Kraft Heinz Company - KHC lost more than 3 quarters of its market capitalization in the last 3 years.

Well, good for Kraft that he's not part of that company, then.

Yeah, Bob Kraft owns the Kraft Group, not Kraft Heinz Company. Kraft made his money in paper manufacturing and lumber, I think. Definitely paper manufacturing.

Totally lame. It's incredible how when the biggest of egos get together, they are unable to get anything done. Why Kraft would allow this to happen is beyond me - I am not sure why he isn't stepping in and is instead allowing BB to handle all of the negotiations. I appreciate what BB has done for this franchise, but this is a mistake. I doubt it works out for anybody involved.

Made a huge mistake imo.

You treat TB like Kobe in his last few years.

You overpay and treat him. It doesn't matter if he isn't worth the money; he's given you his best and worst years. As Giants fan, TB was one of the most annoying guys to face against, but there was a level of mutual respect.

What a shame to watch him not retire as a Pat.

Did you come here to gloat?  ;) Stupid Giants!

Anyway, yeah, I totally agree. I know there are a number of Pats fans who are ready to move on - I am really not sure what this is all about. I haven't lived in New England/Boston for 10+ years, but I definitely don't miss the negativity. I have no idea what anybody is thinking. Stidham better be flipping amazing - like the next Aaron Rodgers amazing.

Secretly deep inside I am, muahahahaha!

We have had some great battles!

I still think it'll be so weird seeing Brady play in a different uniform.
