Zizic is really having a tough time with the stretch bigs.

Its clear he needs to work in the gym after a tough year in europe and well lots of adjustment too ^^ its ok, he will slowly get it

I'm not watching the game so I can't see how he's playing, but he's not looking any better then Tatum to me based on box score alone:

Fultz:
11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 turnovers, 5/10 FG, -7

Tatum:
9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, 4/10 FG, -5

 

Fultz has played 13 minutes. Tatum 23.

He blows hot and cold, great play followed by a bonehead one. He's 24. I had high hopes that are fading.

He's actually usually pretty consistent from the many times I watched him in the D-league.

But the real consistency test will come when he has time to play with a steady roster of good NBA players.

But the things he doesn't need to learn:  being huge, playing hard, getting boards, catching the ball.  Finally nice to have a guy like that.

Fultz' reads, ball handing and defensive instincts are elite

Defensive instincts? He had that one nice block, but he looks as bad as advertised defensively. Pretty sure Brown made him look silly in the first half.

He has defensive potential with his length, but he's pretty bad as it is now.

Yea basically whenever Futlz was guarding our raw rookie, he got destroyed. Fultz looks good offensively, but man he is a sieve. Although as Celtics fans we are conditioned to be okay with that.

Fultz certainly has a ton of potential, but he's not all that impressive tonight as they're making him out to be. Tatum has looked better to me when both ends are considered.
