Rondo sits and the offense dies. I cannot wait until Delonte gets back, because Nate is 100 percent not a backup point guard. When he is in, everything turns into one-on-one basketball.

Chicago's D on our passes is just great, you can tell Thibs knows what we're going to do every single time!

Celtics are clearly in control of the game but Chicago are hanging around well.

Be nice to build some separation on the scoreboard. Especially given the so-so play of the bench recently.

Bulls defense looks good.

KG off to a really poor start.

Helps to not only have one of the best defensive coaches around but one who knows the team he is playing intimately. Bulls didn't look so hot on D last night.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
It always amazes me how our offense comes to a screeching halt when Rondo comes out.

9 point swing since Rondo went to the bench.

Looks like one of those games where Doc is saying, "I'm going to play the bench a lot, and if we lose, we lose." Nate Robinson is completely lost on both ends of the court. He really is a negative on the floor right now.

Without Rondo our offense is just putrid. And Nate is absolutely lost on both ends, we need Rondo to come back in this one or avoid to dig us a huge hole early on.

It's a combination of our lack of shot-creators and the inadequacy of the Baby-Erden combo on defense.

Pierce and KG starting a combined 0-9 also doesn't help

  • About five seconds after 17 O'clock!!
Just noticed another familiar face/connection behind the Chicago bench. Rick Brunson had a brief cup of coffee with us in (I think ) 2000/01

Ain't that the truth. I was surprised last night when Thibs sat Rose for 9 minutes in the fourth... anyway.

Poor first quarter. As mentioned too many times, Nate can't run an offense. Need 'lonte back. Quick.

Agreed on both counts -- it'll be nice to get Erden back on the bench and out of the rotation.
