Quite not as surprising as you'd think, but I'll be there for this game. Go Rondo!

How do you find the time/energy to watch almost every Celtic game live with the time difference? I wish I could do so too. :P

I was sent home from work early due to a snow storm. Hopefully my snow day can finish with a C's win!

I suck it up :x Sorry, I'm a crazy man. I go to bed early, and wake up later if I can. Today however, I had practice. Tuesday I will have practice as well. Those are hard days, for after practice I'm really, really very exhausted (asthma doesn't quite help here, neither does a hyper-mobile (or whatever you call it) body) and I had to take tomorrow morning off. What I do in that kind of case is make up for the hours I lost by working on Saturdays or Sundays.

Or I work longer on weekdays.

It's either the above thingies, or I just remain tired until I find the time to catch some extra sleep.

Today I'll have to write one or two articles about the Celtics too. One for Gino's Jungle and one that I would like to have on CB, if it's good enough anyway ;) I think you'll like the one I'm writing for CB ;)

You'll see soon enough, it's going up either here or @ Gino's ;)

I'll stop plugging now :D

But I don't think I'm a 'normal person' in my watching the games, Drucci. For one, I'm daft for wanting to watch every game, and I'm probably a lone soul in doing so.

Secondly, I guess I'm addicted to the excitement and the game thread.

And thirdly, I live and die by the "bleed green" thing ;)

Passions die hard ;)

TP for your explanations Kiorrik, although I still wonder what is your job or what are your studies!

You're not alone in wanting to watch every Celtics game this season, I'm doing it too but I'm a big sleeper so if I don't get enough sleep each night or can't sleep a lot the morning to compensate, I'm like a walking zombie in the day. ;D

That's why I can't watch many games during the week but more on the week end. I always catch the replay when I can't watch the game live but I agree that watching it live is way more fun because of the game threads, the excitement, etc. There is always a risk you see the score of the game before catching the replay but my technics to avoid spoilers have worked so far this year. ;D

Anyway, enjoy the game and the night, and let's go C's once again!

PS : looking forward to read your article.

.edit: Drucci, if this post seems too long: I'm a webdesigner. That sums this post up quite nicely :P

Well, as it happens to be, I'm working on a totally new portfolio website, I'll show it to ya soon, I'm sure you'll love it. I'm a lot of things at my company, and I work for a webdesign company.

Alright, I don't want to be a poser with all of the titles I've been given (since none are related to education) but I'm:
1) User interface designer
- I use Photoshop and other graphics software to design everything from intranets and websites to applications
2) Front end developer
- I am proficient in HTML and CSS coding and thus I not only make the layout, but I make it look good for the web as well
3) Content Management System implementation specialist (don't ask, I didn't come up with the titles)
- I tie up the back-end of applications with the front-end of them
4) Graphic consultant
- Not sure if that's the correct translation, but in short; I give people advice on the looks of their websites.

With all of the above come a lot of side-tracks, like writing test-cases, some project management tasks, brainstorm sessions and some print media design (like business cards, flyers and folders.)

I do these things both 40 hours a week for a boss, and do them on freelance base as well.

Wow. Do we have an introduction post thread? I need to copy paste this stuff :P

i hope this is not anutha ez win..

i really want to see us in trouble and then see how we get out of it..

Yeah, cause we haven't done enough of that so far this season.  ::)

type what u feel man

dont use animation to show how u feel~

I guess I feel being sarcastic and your sarcasm detector's apparently off. I mean, you say you want to see us in trouble to see how we react when we've already had our fair share of close games this season. Infact, I can only assume you say we're rolling cause we've won 7 straight, which I definitely can't argue with. We are rolling, but we've had close games in that streak; the Knicks, the 76ers, the Heat, and then the Spurs. That's 4 out of 7 games. Heck, Marc Stein says himself that the only reason he has the Celtics has #3 in his Power Rankings is because they beat the Spurs and the Thunder back to back in road games.

So, if we start blowing out some teams, I'll take that as a sign that we're truly in sync. Besides, I'm tired of hearing ridiculous trade rumors after a close win (or a loss).

sorry man my fault..

i was havin a tender moment..a lil bit sensitive..

been a fan forver and i hate gettin my hope too high..i wanna see us crush every team we play but if we are down i want to see who will step up..team get better as the season goes...

Kiorrik > this sums your job better than well! ;D

It sounds really interesting, and it must be really cool to work freelance. I understand when your talent and ability for design and computer creation come from. I guess it gives you a lot of "freedom" to watch C's or NBA games live, great opportunity.

I will stop the off topic discussion by wishing you good luck for your future portfolio site. :)

PS : it would be really cool to have a thread on CB to learn about each other's jobs or studies, especially since many members come from different places in the US or all over the world. Maybe it already exists?

Yup ... it does exist, though I can't remember under what topic ... I'm sure Nick or Roy could find it right away.

Don't want to bother them, they're probably as busy as anyone ;)

I'll look for it later, article first. Feel like finishing this piece.

Thanks for the kind words @ Drucci. You're honestly too generous ;)

Just went through the entire "Community" thread ... the closest was "Where are you from?" ... the one I remember was from two years ago, so maybe it no longer exists ... I thought it would be under Community, if anything.

We definitely had a "What do you do?" thread (or something similarly named).  I just briefly scanned the "Community" forum but didn't come across it.  It may have been erased when we lost old postings sometime back.

The super streaky Brandon Jennings is due for a huge night after a stretch of horrible shooting.  Hopefully it doesn't happen tonight.

Yeah ... it was a couple years ago, but I couldn't find it either. Maybe time to start a new one, as the community has changed a great deal personnel-wise.

Thanks Donoghus for posting it, I'm going to check it out!

Yup, I'm back... just realized that I couldn't sleep and that I would enjoy more watching the game (and sleeping tomorrow morning) than turning around in my bed, trying to fall asleep. The adrenaline is here and now I'm waiting for the tipoff... I guess these 3 days without Celtics basketball made me starving. ;D
