Wow, Rondo has 4 pts, 3 reb, and EIGHT assists in the quarter.  This team's really clicking on offense, let's hope the subs can keep it up.

Jeeze. The snow looks bad in Boston. While over here in Houston, it's a 65 degrees night. Very humid.  ;D :P

Second unit could really be a bit more impressive defensively...I'm hoping I can talk myself into believing that the turnover issues right now are largely an issue of the unit readjusting to Pruitt's presence, which may throw things off a bit...

I think the NBA needs to start calling some of these games early. C's up double digits in the first quarter, Rondo is dealing, ball movement is excellent, Stern says let's call this one and just give the C's the win.

Too bad the starters can't play
48 minutes every game  :-\

Well, it's Interesting to see this unit get some run, its also being very nice to the Bulls, our 1st unit is dominant

  • Let's Go Celtics
Can we please go back to keeping Ray or Paul in with the second unit.  5 off the bench is just not working.  I think ultimately having them play more in the second quarter would lower their fourth quarter minutes.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Late to this one.

Looks way closer than I expected.

Why so close?

I am not enjoying the 2nd unit, full bench minutes much either, but I think Doc might be onto something. I ask myself how can he just keep throwing that group out there and watching leads go away.

Maybe Doc has a plan. Let it happen now in the early part of the season, try to get that 2nd unit to improve as a unit. Maybe by the playoffs they will be a viable unit and able to honestly spell the starters.

Or, Doc has been doing whip-its.

Perk cn eat this team alive.

It drives me nuts  how not only does davis get called for a lot of useless moving screens, but he also commits a foul on almost every screen. I cringe every time he sets a pick. he's gotta figure something out.
