Phil Jackson is smart.

Indeed.

I really wonder why Early fell that far. And Phil Jackson stole him.

I hope Cameron Bairstow gets picked but probably has a better chance as a FA signing.

Phil Jackson is smart.

Anyone else catch why he fell so low?

He's older, so is lacking a little upside.  In a draft full of it, it's hard to pick the NBA ready players.  Some teams will regret passing on him, some won't.

Hoping we trade into round 2 to select Nikola Jokic, who is Boris Diaw 2.0

And now there's a Vine of Zach LaVine mumbling "F--- Me" when he was drafted by Minnesota.

But how's his wingspan?  ;)

I don't pay much attention to players slotted to go in the bottom half of the draft, so I kept hearing this dude's name in the inane babble.

We once picked a left handed 6-7 player named Young in the first round ...his team also lost in the NCAA finals.....Michael Young from Houston...picked in the first round and cut in training camp....bad omen

I posted it in another thread, but I'll post it here as well.

Ainge is so good at scouting, he can usually find undrafted players that are better than most 2nd rounders.

Tweener forward with standard concerns about which position he will play, plus he racked up stats in a small conference (MVC).
