I can't tell whether KG was nervous or still hyped from the game or a little of both.

He does the same knee tapping thing I do when I'm really nervous.

I wonder if he's gotten any sleep yet.  ;D

I know right from the beginning of that interview when KG walked in and sat down, both legs were hopping and his hands where in his lap moving, and he had a grin on his face like a little boy, he is so excited and happy to be here right now. Thank you KG.

It seems that those guys hadnt gotten over yet.  They kept fist bumping each other and KG just had this huge smile on his face.  Also, I like how KG is pretty philosophical.  If Letterman was a better reporter (not taking anything away from him, but his just job is to make jokes, not make real interviews), then I can see KG coming out with a series of great quotes.
Baby Jesus!

Best part was when they called each other champ. Dave got a kick out of that too.

Great viewing. I kept switching back to NBAtv during commercials to watch the replay of yesterday's game broadcast.

Letterman's an idiot, but it was great to see the Boyz on TV ... hope they get a few more interviews, with people who actually take them seriously.

KG is still wired in that clip.  He can't even sit still.  I don't think it's nerves... he's just still freaking out about the victory.  It's awesome.  I'm happy for the guy.

Yea he definitely was, although I don't get to see KG much on tele, I do look up pictures and clips of him, I believe, this was the happiest I've seen him ever since his early days as a timberwolf, as da Kid and playing with Stephon.
Anything is possible!!!

I just love how much KG is soaking this up.  I bet he's been walking around since the game giving those fist pumps almost constantly.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

What I found so funny was that Ray & KG are wearing jeans and sneakers to go along with the suit jackets and ties!
I love my kids, call me a sap - it's true.

Not sure if anyone would know this (maybe Big Ticket if noone else) - but has anyone ever seen Garnett interviewed in a relaxed atmosphere such as this?  I know he had a John Thompson interview back in 2005 but that was a serious interview about the Wolves losing and how bad it was in Minnesota.

I have never seen Garnett in a talk show type atmosphere, and never heard of him doing a radio interview so I kind of hope maybe this won't be the only time we get to see him like this.

One of the posters was right, Letterman didn't really conduct that great of an interview - I guess it would have been easier if they were each on seperately, but I thought there could have been a few more questions to each.  Otherwise it was a great interview.

KG to Ray: "How you feelin', Champ?"

Ray to KG: "Pretty good .... how you feelin', Champ?"

KG: "Pretty good, Champ!" (To that effect).

Man ... I really love these guys ... and I can't wait until next season!

It's very rare that he does interviews like this.  He is a very shy guy off the court.  Basketball is his sanctuary, put him in front of a camera and tons of people outside of that and he gets nervous.  Did you see how much nervous energy he had on Letterman?  He couldn't keep still, he didn't look at the camera much, had his hands on his face a lot... I wasn't surprised one bit, but I was wondering if anyone else would notice.

And to answer your question... he did go on the Craig Kilbourn Show in 2003 or so along with Sam and Spree (Kilbourn is from Minnesota and went through the Wolves training camp that year).  I know he's never been on Best [dang] Sports Show and they've wanted him to be a guest for a long time.

He's a very private guy who keeps a very tight circle and really protects his personal life.
