I guess here's one thing we should probably clarify, and I'll open it up to discussion:

You can't pick a pairing, right? Like I can't pick Tia & Tamara from 'Sister, Sister.' I have to pick Tia OR Tamara (obviously, I'd pick Tamara).

Right. You can pick them, but as 2 separate picks

Do we have to specify which role the character will play when we pick them?

Ex: Character A was the Leading man of the Greatest TV Show ever. If I pick character A in the first round can he end up being my badass or best friend?

This really messes up my plans, as I figured my brother Darryl and my other brother Darryl were a package deal.  I just know soon as I grab Darryl, somebody is going to swoop in and draft the other one.  I definitely envy Redz position in this snake draft.

To me, I think you should be able to draft a character and change their position (?) later. But for the sake of comedy, I think you always announce your intention when you draft the guy.

So it's not

"We select Patrick Duffy"

it's

"We select Patrick Duffy as our leading man, will move David Hasselhoff to the role of villain"

Right. You declare their role when you take them, but if you change your mind, that's okay.

Reminder though, characters, not actors. CHARACTERS, NOT ACTORS

Wouldn't advise anyone to pick the dad from '7th Heaven' though

I kinkda consider Daryl and Darell as a package deal since they never spoke. Actually it would be kinda hilarious to split them up

If there are any Siamese twins in the history of TV since 1985 that's a package deal. Ditto with someone with multiple personality disorder.

Don’t want to tip off my strategy too early, but I’m seriously considering a Fran Drescher as The Nanny and Janice from Friends buddy comedy.   But then I’d have to leave some other potential goldmines off, like Who Nose or God Cop.  Now I understand how hard Jack Donaghy’s job really was.  Which show do I green light? Argh, such a dilemma!

I'm embarrassed by the amount of time I spend laughing at the Will Ferrel thing every time I see it.

I'm embarrassed by the amount of time I've spent trying to figure out what characters I want to draft. This is malarkey.

I'm all in on one show idea, but if my lead gets taken before my first pick I'll be in a frenzy
