This fact from Jason Stark really surprised me:
[Cliff] Lee became the first pitcher in history to spin off eight innings of no-run, no-walk, double-figure-strikeout baseball on the resplendent postseason stage.
Really? Can that be true? No other pitcher had ever had an 8+ inning, 0 runs, 0 walks, 10+ strikeout game in the playoffs before? I'm sure it's the "0 walks" thing that was the disqualifier for many, but I was definitely a little shocked.
