Lonzo Ball @ $20 mill per year has not been very fruitful.

They mentioned ball but said that they may get money back if he doesn’t play again and get insurance money or whatever so it was more of a sad contract than a bad contract.

Just to clarify they did mention the other guys you mentioned in the draft including Zion, mpj. I would probably have mpj higher than they did because he just has not developed and really prevents the nuggets from using that money for a real star next to jokic. Murray not recovering fully from his injury also hurts the nuggets a lot.
MPJ is a brutal one given how injury-prone he is and how poor his defence is. He's a super efficient scorer of 15-20, but doesn't really do much else. And his efficiency is definitely bolstered by Jokic
