Brown has a perception problem.  He believes he should be a LT and paid like one, but teams think he is a RT and should be paid like one.

That’s the reporting I’ve seen, too.  I would think paying him like a top-end RT would get it done, but time will tell.

He officially signed with the Bengals just now. 4/64M

Wow.  Cheaper than other OTs signed.

It is crazy the Chiefs signed a less talented tackle to more money. They really didnt want Brown back at all huh?

I think the Chiefs wanted him at RT, but he really wants to play LT. That is why the Ravens traded him to the Chiefs to begin with as he wanted to be a LT and the Ravens were set at LT.  I'm guessing the Bengals will play him at LT.
I was finally wrong. Boston not only didn't win in 5, but didn't win at all.

If the Pats don’t trade for Hopkins at this point, they aren’t even trying to stay competitive.

Dallas Cowboys are acquiring Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks for a fifth-round pick in 2023 and a sixth-round pick in 2024, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Adam Schefter.

Cooks restructured his contract Saturday so that Houston will pay $6 million of his salary this season and Dallas will pay the remaining $12 million, sources told ESPN. He is under contract through 2024.

That's it?? Boy we better get someone (Jeudy, Hopkins, OBJ, maybe 2 of the 3)

5th and a 6th?  That’s nothing.

OBJ isn’t a #1 WR anymore, though. Pats have plenty of #2’s. Denver is going to want a lot for Jeudy considering he’s young. If Cooks is worth a 5th and 6th, Hopkins is what… a 3rd/4th and a 5th? What are we doing here…

I’d gladly give up a 2nd rounder + future 4th to get Hopkins. Then use the first round pick on an OT.

Maybe recruit OBJ hard on a prove it deal too lol. Then I’d feel ecstatic about our offense

I wouldn't feel ecstatic about our offence until we shore up the o-line to be honest.

And, if we did trade for Hopkins, we'd have a receiving group of Hop, JuJu, Parker, Bourne, & Thornton, as well as Henry and Gesicki. Would OBJ really want to come to such a crowded group?

A 3rd ownership group has appeared for the Commanders.  This one is led by Steve Apostolopoulos who is a venture capitalist out of Toronto.  He apparently had reached out about purchasing the Hornets before the minority owner bought Jordan's shares.  The other two groups with known interest are Tillman Fertitta (the Rockets owner and casino magnate) and a group led by Josh Harris of the Sixers.  Harris has joined forces with Mitchell Rales a Washington-based billionaire and apparently Magic Johnson has a stake as well.

Bezos has not formally entered the discussion though there is speculation he will eventually express interest and make a bid.

This is the most valuable franchise to come on the market in a very long time, so it is going to draw a lot of suitors.  It will be interesting to see what the final number ends up at.
