D White, Smart & Brogdon vs Hawks in playoffs

D White = leads the trio with 33mpg. Leads them with 19.4ppg and roughly 4rpg & 4apg while shooting a blistering 59% from the field, 50% from three and 73.7% TS%.

Smart = second in minutes with 30.6mpg. Second in scoring with 15.6ppg 5.4apg 4.6rpg while shooting 49% FG% 38% 3PT% and a TS% of 59.4%.

Brogdon = lowest in minutes at 25.6mpg. Lowest in scoring at 12.4ppg although that measures out to a similar number per minute as Smart overall. Adding 4.4apg and 4.0rpg which per minute is even with Smart in assists and slightly ahead (0.5reb per 36) in rebounds. Brogdon is shooting the lowest FG% at 44.4%, the lowest from 3P% at only 30% and the lowest overall in TS% at only 53% which is well behind both Smart and of course D White who is red hot.
good figures to have.  just curious if you happen to have the TO and foul numbers

I did not look at them but hang on one sec. I still have the tab open.

They are all pretty similar (and low).

D White = 1.4 turnovers and 2.2 fouls per game
Smart = 1.6 turnovers and 2.0 fouls per game
Brogdon = 1.2 turnovers and 1.6 fouls per game

While on the subject of turnovers, Jaylen Brown is leading the team in turnovers at 3.8 per game and has a negative assist to turnover ratio again with 3.2 assists to 3.8 turnovers per game.

In contrast, Tatum has a 5.0 assists to 3.0 turnovers per game ratio. Tatum also averages 2.2 more FGAs and 1.2 FTAs per game more than Jaylen while averaging less turnovers than Jaylen.

TP for the research.

essentially, the numbers say White's more productive than the other two and that Smart/Brogdon is essentially equivalent.  I'd still prefer Brogdon get the end of game minutes.  He's far more steady on offense than Smart, doesn't try for the homerun shot/pass and is a far more consistent offensive threat than Smart.

Jaylen's sadly a TO machine at times but field goal attempts don't really tell us much absent information on field goals made.
