All players are 25 years old except Luka, Hes 19 years old. I do need some help with the bench players. They must be slow and awesome.

How many rings would this team win if they played 8 years together.

Center Jokic
PF Nowitzki
SF Larry Legend
SG Luka
PG Mark Jackson

Bench

Hornacek
Mutumbo
Zach Randolph

This team would utterly dominate in any era.

Towards the end, Bill Walton could barely move. Add him to your bench.

offense would be dynamite.  defensively, they'd be toast against a quicker, more athletic team with decent shooting

It illustrates a good point, that speed and athleticism is not the end all in the NBA.

But Zach Randolph over Kevin McHale?  McHale was plenty slow enough to make this team.  Wes Unseld would be another old school guy to keep in mind for this team.

Team speed is very important. It is easy to work with one slow guy when the other 4 guys are good athletes. 5 slow guys together would destroy your defense. You would get killed in transition and you would give up a ton of open shots in the halfcourt because you can neither stay in front of people well enough or make multiple efforts on defensive rotations.

There's got to be somebody better than Mark Jackson for that team, right?

I don't think of Mark Price as slow.  He was very quick, and a master of the pick and roll in the day.  Thinking of a slow PG is hard.  Magic Johnson may have been one of the slowest in terms of raw foot speed.  So maybe he is the guy for this team.

Lol, is this an excuse to get as many white players as possible on one team?

I wouldn't call Mark Price really fast but he had a great handle so he could push the ball and really moved with purpose. Maybe not slow... He's one of the great underrated players of all time.

Was Bird slow when he was 25? That was only his 3rd year in the NBA.

Dennis Johnson seemed pretty slow to me. Add him to bench?

One thing about Bird was he never looked like he was breathing hard. He did a lot of running and never seemed winded. A very underrated athlete.

He played in Lithuania at the time, but what about Arvydas Sabonis?

Would anyone consider Chris Bosh as being fast?

Wait, how has Tim Duncan not been mentioned yet?
