Definitely a death knell for the lakers fans dreams of finishing 6th. Will be a struggle to stay in play in range if he misses the projected “weeks”

I was going to say that the Lakers are done but looks like they have the 5th easiest schedule remaining so that gives them a chance.  Interestingly Celts and Bucks are right in the middle (14, 15) so no advantage there in the fight for 1st in the East.  That last head-to-head could well decide it.

Bit of an ominous update from woj today. Seems out a minimum of three weeks and hints at maybe being shut down for season. Chasing the record so aggressively couldn’t have helped thks

Davis may pack it in also.  The Lakers go nowhere without a fully healthy LeBron and Davis knows it.

An interesting note to the fact that NOP and LAL will swap picks to assure that NOP get the better pick.  Right now, LAL is  in like for pick 10 and NOP is 12.  NOP had been trending down and LAL trending up.  That may change.  Both team will likely trend down.  NOP could still end up with a really nice pick but LAL's pick (after the swap) may not be all that much worse.
