In other words, Wiseman may become available in the off-season after all:

I’d still rather have Bey.

Same. Both very intriguing prospects we might get to take a look at in the off-season. I’d even consider Grant Williams for Bey after we match the best offer for Grant.

Apparently his agent is saying Payton never took those Toradol shots

So is someone lying? Did Woj, The Athletic and other parties all mess up and get bad information?

I mean these were some serious allegations those parties put out there about the Blazers and their medical staff

And honestly I’m not sure why the agent would lie about this either.

The Golden State Warriors have filed a complaint against the Portland Trail Blazers stemming from the proposed trade that would send Gary Payton II back to the Bay Area, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

It was reported Saturday night that Payton's physical after the trade revealed a core muscle injury that could keep him out for up to three months.

The league is launching an investigation into the matter, and if the Trail Blazers are found to have misled the Warriors regarding Payton's health, they could be punished with a fine and or loss of draft picks, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Adrian Wojnarowski: ESPN Sources: The four-team trade, held up by Golden State’s concern over Gary Payton II’s physical, is tracking to be completed today. Deal allows Payton II (Golden State) James Wiseman (Detroit), Saddiq Bey (Atlanta) and Kevin Knox (Portland) to join new teams.

Adrian Wojnarowski: There’s still work to do to get Golden State’s approval on trade, but there’s optimism that it’ll be completed, sources tell ESPN.

What work is there to do?

Convincing them that Payton is healthy. I mean he was playing prior to trade why is he deemed unhealthy after it?
ok fine

I’m just curious though, will Payton play at all this season? Because if he does suit up before the playoffs then frankly I’d find that a bit sus from GSW since they said he’s likely too hurt to play for the next 3 months…

I wonder what the league investigation will turn up
