That’s all it took to get Poeltl? So Siakam goes back to power forward. OG may be on the block.

He’s on an expiring contract and they got a first round draft pick and and two 2nds. That’s a good haul for the Spurs.

Great pickup. Biggest difference maker so far. Well done Toronto; filled a desperate need.

That is 50+ win team. Toronto should NOT trade OG.

Move from a play-in possibility to a potential 7 seed. Not sure it's that exciting

Durant to the Suns would be really curious. They are currently slowly turning the ship around (won a few games, up to the 5th seed in a tight race from 2nd to 9th), but adding a superstar would push them right up - if it works

So 4-5 firsts, one of the better 2-way wings in the competition, another elite shooting wing and Jae Crowder.

It's a lot to give up, but a big 4 of KD, Booker, Ayton and Paul is intriguing.

Partly yes, somewhat no.

The no is more about how badly the team was built with no true center. If they had any competent center play, Poeltl wouldn't add 12 wins / be such a difference maker. But because they had no quality center play, he really is a big difference for THAT team.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Maybe, I guess we'll see. My main issue with that team is shooting. Their best shooter is Trent and OG, both at 37%. That is far from elite these days. Maybe a good screener in Poeltl will help that, but I still think shooting is a big weakness there

IMO, that’s a terrible return for Brooklyn.

Remember, Houston owns Brooklyn’s pick next season and currently their star player is Mikal Bridges.

The Suns future picks will lack value too as Booker, Ayton & Durant are all under long term contracts.

Favorites in the west and possibly favorites overall.  They just need health.

They’re very vulnerable to injuries though.  Pretty light on depth, very reliant on some guys who miss a lot of games.

Holy cow - suddenly the East has become even more top heavy with the West looking like a blood bath throughout all seeds haha I'm not complaining!

Remember, Houston has their unprotected pick next season and currently their star player is Mikal Bridges.
It's banking on a bottoming out at Phoenix post-KD and CP3, which is a risk for sure. But Brooklyn has recently shown itself to be a place players want to play
