Big issue for Toronto is getting VanVleet back to where he was prior to the ASG last season. He got hurt afterwards and struggled to close the season. He has carried that into this season. His underperformance has also hurt TOR badly in addition to having no center.

Without that, TOR still probably a 47 win type team.
With VanVleet back in top gear, 50+ win team.

Heading into next season, some growth from S Barnes and an improved bench and Toronto could be a Title Contender.

G: VanVleet
G: Trent Jr
F: Durant, Anunoby
F: Siakam
C: Poeltl

Shades of the Kawhi Leonard title winng team.

Give me TJ Warren, Brooklyn!

He was part of the trade with Phoenix.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Why can’t Warren start at the other forward spot.

CP3, Booker, Durant and Ayton does look impossible to defend. Good basis for team defense as well.

I wonder what Brad is doing now. The west is getting a lot stronger. BKN will probably have a firesale. Who could we get from them? Joe Harris?

Brooklyn have a pretty solid team post trade.

G: Dinwiddie, Watanabe, P Mills
G: Joe Haris, Cam Thomas, Seth Curry
F: Mikal Bridges, R O'Neale
F: B Simmons, Finney Smith
C: N Claxton

That is a solid .500 team. Strong defensive team. Some passing, some shooting, good rebounding.
