After the Howard Stern interview I actually liked SAS but this garbage makes me back giving him tool status.  He has sources but no way in hell Brad disrupts the team on a scale this large by moving Brown.  Maybe he made calls to see if they wanted Brogdon and White but I'd be shocked if JB was moved only if he told them he would not 100% resign and from his comments in the media I don't think that has happened.  I don't want KD anywhere near this team if it means losing Brown.

If the Celtics were interested in Durant this past off-season, then I don't see why their interest would change before the trade deadline. The only reason Durant wasn't traded in the off-season was because Brooklyn’s asking price was too high.

If I'm trading Jaylen Brown for Durant, then multiple draft picks are off the table. I might think of Brown, Gallinari, Grant Williams, and one pick. I think the Celtics will be legitimate title contenders for the next two years with Durant. Without the trade, I think the Bucks remain a legitimate road block for just making it out of the East.

Btw, why is SAS the only one reporting this, while everyone else (including Woj) says the Nets are keeping KD and looking to make trades to supplement the roster? KD hasn't even requested a trade formally

Reporters throw out rumors to generate hits and visits to their sites.  SAS really does not have any top high NBA level connections look at how many times he has been wrong about people coming to the Knicks.  Sure is he more connected than you or I but he is still just putting it out there....

The only piece of this that's "garbage" is that the Celtics are "making the calls". That strikes me as unlikely (though far from impossible -- Wyc has wanted Durant since the beginning of time). Brad has to be a little careful with JB.

But is it really hard to imagine that the Nets may now trade KD if they can't find an All-Star to pair with him in the next couple days? Dude ASKED to be traded a few months ago -- before losing Kyrie.

So someone friendly to Stephen A said to him: "Boston called about Durant" to stir the pot on BKN's behalf, and he floats it for them. Typical.

But I'd be a little surprised if the teams don't have a single conversation on the topic between now and the deadline.
