Who would actually trade for him when he will walk this summer? Only a desperate team like the Lakers would do it. If Marks could swindle them he should do it.

Does this mean he's going to the lakers?

What would the Nets want from the Lakers?

Less about what they want and more about what can they get at this point.  I just wonder how many teams would be willing to go after Kyrie at this point.  I think the lakers would be one of the few.  Westbrook for Kyrie wouldn't make sense because I doubt they'd want to keep him long term.  Westbrook and picks though?  Same situation they'd be in with Kyrie but some picks to go with it.

I don't even know if that's possible.  I just worry about having to see Kyrie AND the lakers successful.

LOL

What a little weasel. He actually made IMO some passive aggressive comments after getting drubbed by the C's the other night. Going on about how the Celtics are "really playing to win a championship." Subtly insinuating his team is not.

Hey, maybe he wants to come back!

I'm thinking Tatum, Brown, 2 firsts for Kyrie and salary filler? Think the Nets would go for that?

Pat Riley would absolutely destroy Kyrie mentally. Kyrie would ask for another trade 3 minutes after getting traded there.

They won't trade him unless they want to take back Westbrook.  I can't think of any other team that is going to be in position to trade for him.

The Nets will just wait him out.  Then in the off season, when he realizes no one has any money to sign him (at least anyone he would want to play for), he will probably sign again with the Nets.

It is kind of silly.  As soon as Durant is back, they are a contender again.  Unless he goes to Denver or something, he is not going to have a better chance at winning.

I’d rather mentally ill Kyrie then that washed up player.

So it is extend me or trade me.  I guess that makes sense.

Kyrie is making sure everyone knows about his trade request.

Arguably the most mentally weak athlete I've ever seen.

I think a trade to the lakers makes a ton of sense for both teams. Kyrie for Westbrook and a first probably gets it done.

Also makes you wonder if KD's injury is more serious then anticipated, maybe he is going to shut it down?

That quote definitely deserves an asterisk.
