All-Star guard James Harden is seriously considering a return to the Houston Rockets in free agency this July, if he decides against a new deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

What makes him think they’ll take him back at this point?

They should focus on their future—Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Jr., Tari Eason, Josh Christopher and trying to win the Wembanyana sweepstakes—and don’t look at the past in James Harden. If they add Wembanyana to Green and Smith, they’ve got a playoff team that could eventually blossom into a dynasty…

Hypothetically it makes a little bit of sense for the Rockets, purely because they owe Oklahoma their pick next season.
