Only two teams have been swept in the NBA Finals during LeBron’s NBA career and both teams were led by LeBron (2006-2007 Cavs and 2017-2018 Cavs).

Let’s top that one!

LeBron James, as of this writing, has attempted 27,307 shots in his NBA career.  He has won 4 NBA championships - meaning it takes James just over 6,826 shots per championship (SPC).

Kareem attempted 28,307 shots. He won 5 rings, for an SPC of 5,661

Michael Jordan attempted 24,537 shots in his NBA career. He won 6 NBA championships - an SPC of 4,089.

Bill Russell attempted 12930 shots in his NBA career, with an SPC of 1,175.

Clearly SPC is the most accurate measure of NBA ability at the highest level. Rights are pending, but it should be considered proprietary in principle as it will inevitably change talking basketball forever.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

K.C. Jones = 4961 shots, 8 championships.  SPC = 620!

Robert Horry isn't as good as KC Jones, but for a modern guy not bad 6643 shots and 7 titles or 949 shots per title.  Rodman was just over 1000, with his 5 titles and 5310 shots, 1062 shots per title.  Steve Kerr 4263 shots, 5 titles or 852.6 shots per title.  Kurt Rambis, 3376 shots, 4 titles, 844 shots per title.  There are some other guys that didn't play very long, but hit a Bulls 3-peat, but I'm not counting them.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Poor old Dirk. 23,734 shots = 1 title.

Has any title winner shot the ball more per title?

Elvin Hayes 24,272 = 1 title.

Even worse, Karl Malone 26,210 = 0 titles.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Yeah, I think we need to limit this to starters, or even Hall of Famers.  Otherwise you get things like Gabe Pruitt, 1 title, 140 FGA.  Or, Zach Norvell, 12 FGA, 1 title.

I think you've got the winner with Zach though

It's got to be a shifting scale I think - is Robert Horry's SPC of 949 deserved because so many of those shots were 'big shots'?
