 I think he ends up in Texas one way or another. Either the modern Olajuwon in Houston or the next Tim Duncan in San Antonio. Texas will have two of the top players in the league in him and Doncic.

We can't even hope, since Indiana has our first rounder this year. Which means, of course, that I could do one of two things:

A) Go to bed at a reasonable hour, or...
B) Sit around here trying to think of trades that the Celtics could make with a mid-level team (since no top-of-the-lottery team will trade their draft pick) for a first-rounder that ends up at the back of the lottery and somehow, the lottery ball bounces in our favor...

Guess which one I chose.

Correct answer: If not Boston, anybody in the West except the Lakers. I would bet on San Antonio, Houston or OKC.

Spurs to pair with a Pop swan song.
Or honestly Houston. Wemby and Jalen Green would have best duo in the league kind of upside. Plus either choice is in the West.

I'd like to see him land anywhere but the NBA to further develop his skills so that he hits the draft the following year when the C's actually have a first rounder that Brad somehow magically turns into the top pick in the draft through wheeling and dealing

Agree. I think OKC deserves the same criticism that PHI received. Presti is widely acclaimed, despite turning this franchise into a dumpster fire with legitimately 2 good players (Shai and Giddey) after years of tanking. I bet Poku and Chet will be busts.

no, I want the title this year.  cap that off with another one next year AND getting Wembenyama after Brad has a season to wheel and deal!
