I just don't see how any team looks at the situation and says, "boy I want Westbrook". And even if the logic is, "lets trade our useless guys and dump them for Westbrook", then congrats nothing really changes for both teams. And it's not like the Lakers have a ton of assets they can attach along with Westbrook just to dump him. I imagine they've tried and been unsuccessful

StatMuse: Perspective on how bad the Lakers offense is. 2003 Nuggets (worst ORTG ever): — 92.2 ORTG — NBA avg was 103.6 — 11.4 below avg 2012 Bobcats (worst record ever): — 95.2 ORTG — NBA avg was 104.6 — 9.4 below avg 2023 Lakers: — 97.1 ORTG — NBA avg is 112.1 — 15.0 below avg pic.twitter.com/KV8zticjS9 – via Twitter statmuse

The Lakers have 3 individual players with career scoring averages over 23 pts per game.  Granted, all 3 are past their prime or at least in the case of Davis, not 100%, but still hard to believe that this team can't score.  Combined, the 3 average 74 points and 17 assists over their careers.

They can score, just can’t shoot from the outside. Ham is trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Who wants him? A team with boat-anchor long term contracts that is willing to wait a year for $47M to come off the books.

I predict LeBron has tampered with the roster and ruined another team trying to build a super team, oh wait, that has already happened.   Father time  has robbed him of some lift.

Prediction: he’s on the roster for the whole season. This team stinks and GMs should be happy to see this ship go down without sending a life raft. After Lebron and AD, the roster is bad enough to jump into the Wembanyama sweepstakes. They’re an injury or two away from being the worst team, and Westbrook helps them achieve this.
