Yankees fans booed Aaron Judge after he struck out four times.  The same Aaron Judge who had a top-five all-time offensive season.

Fair or unfair?

Probably unfair but sports always have made rational people do irrational things.  It's the playoffs. People are on edge.

Good.  Another reason to sign with the Giants.

Yeah.  I know my own personal attitude would be "screw you" if I got booed while giving my best effort.

What I'm wondering is why is Judge batting leadoff?? I know DJL is out but they really have no other options for leadoff??

Fine with me if it pushes Judge toward leaving the Yankees! Haha, silly Yankees fans shooting themselves.

I think that teams have concluded that you give your best hitters as many at bats as possible.  I would have him hit 2nd or 3rd with the opportunity to drive in runs.

Judge had a poor game but home fans should never boo their own players unless they clearly aren't giving effort.
I was finally wrong. Boston not only didn't win in 5, but didn't win at all.

I personally do not boo players( I have booed the refs before)  but I think paying fans have a right to do so.   If you run a star out of town then you deserve it though.  Some people boo at anything that goes wrong

I’d never boo my own team.  Refs yes, not the players.  If I felt they were dogging it and deserving of boos I simply wouldn’t go to the game.

I hate going to a home game when someone around me is booing my team.  Just ruins the experience.  If you’re unhappy, go elsewhere and let others try to enjoy themselves.
