For any who are interested...

Mason Cox, the 6'11" Texan & former OSU teammate of Marcus Smart, just played a pivotal role in the Collingwood Magpies (my club) winning their record-equalling 16th premiership.

The below link gives a bit of insight into his story:

Is he Australian or American? Interesting that he was a basketball er who became an Aussie Rules Football player, with Ben Simmons it was the other way around. Those guys can kick though, their Aussie punts are starting to get popular in college football here   :police:
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I googled him there’s a good write up CBS did on him with Smartacus being interviewed about his former teammate as well. That’s a good fish out of water story

American! He only started playing the game, somewhat through chance, around 10 years ago. Being a giant is an advantage, but the story is crazy nonetheless

Wonder if he's seen Shane Gillis' fairly new stand-up that dropped on Netflix a few weeks ago, joking about the Australian accent. For an American, this guy now talks funny!

Cool story
