If Spidey-verse has proven anything, it's that animation is probably the best format for adapting comic books.

It's interesting. I love the Spidey-verse films, but I also was a big fan of Reeves' Batman. I think you can do both live action & animation very well

Was going to see it but will wait until it comes out on streaming. Just not enough interest to watch it in person. CGI looks brutal

Is Guardians DC?

Saw that. It was entertaining and funny in spots, but Tocket’s backstory was a tearjerker.
Yup

Guardians is the MCU. However, you would never know it's in the MCU universe because they don't include some cameo of a randomly secondary character from another MCU movie. The MCU uses this cheap trick to make everyone think the movies are tied together (or the useless post credit scene).

I don't know, DC has done the same thing, haven't they?  Flash, Black Adam, Shazam 2 have all done the cameo / post-credits scene thing.

That Corenswet guy has been fancasted for years now. I’m not interested in Gunn’s slapstick kind of tone but I like following the casting/ fancasting.
Fans are weird. They destroyed DC before for going to fast and now Superman enters a world where superheroes are around everywhere. 🤷‍♂️ whatever.

Flash will now be out on digital July 18th instead of sometime in September.  That is really just waving the white flag.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

It’s a very bad sign that Gunn thought Flash was one of the best comic book movies of all time. He could have just played nice and said it was “wonderful.”  There’s gonna be a lot of silly jokes going forward.
