Inspired by Kiorrik’s “What’s the Last Movie You Watched” thread. What’s the last show that you watched and what did you think of it? Also, thought it would be fun to list the top 5 (or 10) shows that you’d recommend watching.

I just finished the latest season of Barry on HBO. Dark comedy about a former Marine who becomes a hit man. Very well done. I think this last season was the best yet.

Top 5 shows that I’d recommend watching:

1. The Wire
2. Breaking Bad
3. Band of Brothers
4. Curb your Enthusiasm
5. Succession

Well I've watched some great series over the years like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Recently I've enjoyed the following:

- 1883
- Yellowstone
- Better Call Saul
- Star Trek Discovery and Strange New World
- Barry
I've lived through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.   -  Mark Twain

1883 is on my list for sure. I’ve heard a lot of good things. Never really got into Star Trek, but I’m thinking about giving, “Strange New Worlds” a shot. It did receive good reviews. TP for the suggestion.

I finished the Lincoln Lawyer.  Not bad, not great.  Entertaining pulp, basically.

Peaky Blinders was excellent as usual.  It needs another season, instead of a movie.

The Boys is also great.  It’s not Season One good, but is still quite entertaining.

The wife and I recently finished The Witcher season two. Really enjoyed it, but I think the first season is better.

Going through Stranger Things 4 now. It’s pretty good and on par with it as a series.

Also working through Picard season 2. I’m about a big of fan of Star Trek: Next Generation as there is, so anything Picard is gravy for me. I’m liking what I’ve got through thus far. Have to watch Strange New World next.

On a much different genre, the survival series Alone has been really good. Going to start the new season tonight.

Just finished the season finale of The Boys.. It was Pretty, Pretty, Pretty good. One of the best series on television, IMO. Best on Prime Video for sure.

I just finished Schitt's Creek. Hilarious.

Gotta watch the last episode of Ms Marvel. Yawn.

Last season of Peaky Blinders. Another excellent season. Love this series.

Starting Grace and Frankie. Some very funny, intelligent humor so far.

Murders in the Building I think is the best and most creative show I have seen in a while. It’s short and not suspenseful but good comedy, great writing and creative smart style makes it a great show.

Just finished The Afterparty on Apple TV.  A good whodunit comedy.

Mrs Marvel is good - good writing and good acting, but definitely not for everyone. I think many would find it dull. I like it.
Stranger things S4 - very good.
Yellowstone- very good
Lupin - decent, worth watching and I’m guessing many haven’t seen it.
Ozark - great
Reacher S1 - worth a watch
Better Call Saul - very good

I've always liked Eugene, but Schitt's Creek gave me an appreciation for the whole Levy clan. Catherine O'Hara is brilliant

Only 6 episodes in but I like, "For All Man-Kind". It's a solid 8 if you like science and history since it's based on NASA and the changes that could have happened.

If anyone is caught up in the show, is it still good?

I liked “ Under the Banner of Heaven “. I’m loving Fargo the series now. I definitely recommend it. Especially if you didn’t care for the movie . I didn’t know the movie is made up where this is based on true events. (Or so they advertise)
