At this point, I think its a travesty that he's not in the MLB (performance aside). I wonder also what are the legal repercussions for the MLB for the suspension, since so far everything seems to be going Bauer's way as far the legal action against him from accusers.

Yeah, he was reinstated a while back, but who's going to take the risk on him? Was more referring to the amount of games he was suspended for, I recall they were reduced, but he still faced a lengthy unpaid suspension and one can argue that had an impact on teams willing to sign him.

I recall the Red Sox earlier in the year were toying with the idea of signing him.
