They really crapped all over Bird & Boston in the latest episode (#7).

This show has really been up & down.  Don't get me wrong, it's entertaining but a lot of these characters are portrayed one dimensionally.

I really enjoy the show and find it entertaining, but yea I don’t understand the creative liberties they created. Like westhead didn’t struggle at all coaching and they make it seem like he was completely over his head and about to get fired. What was the point of that?

Entertaining first season, but hate how they portrayed Red and Larry. Plus, jealous that the Lakers got a show like this. Hopefully HBO will be fair and balanced by eventually doing a show about the Celtics where the Lakers are made to appear as caricatures.

Celtic Pride: The Rise of the Celtics Dynasty starring:

? as Bill Russell
Michael Chiklis as Red Auerbach (consistency with Winning Time)
? as Bob Cousy
? as John Havlicek
? as Tom Heinsohn
? as K. C. Jones
? as Sam Jones
? as Satch Sanders
? as Bill Sharman
Jason Clarke as Jerry West (consistency with Winning Time)
? as Wilt Chamberlain

Show just got canceled by HBO.

The hilarious irony of this is that the series finale is now the '84 Finals.

I'll bet the actual Jerry West will notice the irony.
I really liked this show and I'm sad it's ending. I thought they ended up pretty respectful of Bird at least. The 84 Finals portrayal felt rushed.
