Vince
Hogan (as much as I don’t like him)
Austin
Cena

Vince goes without saying. But the other 3 are the pillars with which this WWE empire was built. It seems like a crime to exclude main eventers like Flair, Taker, Rock, Triple H, etc and really, they’re some of the greatest ever too. But those 3 defined the eras they were in and were the babyfaces too with which the franchise was built around. Heels are essential, but babyfaces are the “heroes”.

What about women Mt Rushmore???
All are very recent, is my guess. Some of the older women have some disturbing back histories that would exclude them and aren't anywhere close to being the athletes, performers and wrestlers that the women of today are.

Charlotte Flair is easily the best ever.
Sasha Banks right behind her.
Bayley and Becky Lynch after that.

All still active. All breakthrough performers.

What about women Mt Rushmore???

Bit easier, not as many and heven't meant as much to the sport in the past, but certainly growing now.

1:  Fabulous Moolah - I despised her, but she deserves to be right here!
2:  Chyna - I think she started the age of today's women wrestlers.
3:  Trish Status - #Diva!
4:  Sherri Martel

Honorable mention to Stephanie McMahon and Miss Elizabeth.

Moolah is on that Mt. Rushmore but she ended up being a real despicable person & utter scumbag in real life.

I was watching an episode of Beyond The Ring, and somebody mentioned the "Mount Rushmore of Pro Wrestling", I believe in reference to Randy Savage.  It got me thinking, who belongs on there?  If we disregard morals, it seems like Flair and Hogan have to be there.  The Rock seems obvious.  Vince McMahon?

Those are probably my four, but I guarantee I'm overlooking somebody instrumental in the "sport".  Andre?  Undertaker?  Stone Cold?  Some of the pioneers?

My Top 4 would be:

Flair
Hulk
Undertaker
Stone Cold

I lost interest in pro wrestling when I got older (like in my 20s) and found out it was all scripted...but I was a huge fan when I was in elementary and middle school. I loved all the older guys, Hulk vs Andre with the chair, Randy Savage, Jake the Snake and his DDT, Rowdy Roddy Piper, King Kong Bundy, the British Bulldogs...and then non WWE (then WWF) ones like Ric Flair and Lex Luger. Good times...then I found out it was choreographed. It was like finding out Santa Claus wasn't real  :-\
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I think people are sleeping on Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Those two were two of the best ever technical wrestlers and were also superstars carrying the WWE for a while with a legit feud between them.

Flair and Hogan have to be on the list as most people have said.

I can't really include Vince McMahon as he's in a class of his own. Nobody has done more for pro wrestling than him. Nobody even comes close.

Once upon a time, if there was a Mt. Rushmore for tactical / technical professional wrestlers, Chris Benoit would have made the cut.  He was a joy to watch.  And then he committed the most heinous act imaginable.

For the technical wrestlers version of Mount Rushmore:
Bret Hart, Mr Perfect, Kurt Angle, and Shawn Michaels

I agree, Chris Benoit would have been on there if he wasn’t a piece of garbage.

BTW, this Mount Rushmore idea could be telling of how old some of the forum members are here  ;).

Benoit may have been a bad person, but when he did the unspeakable crime, his brain was like swiss cheese from CTE. Reports of experts who examined it said he had the brain of a 90 year old with dementia. The WWE's cover-up of the tragic effects that CTE has had on many pro wrestles is tragic.

This is my opinion as someone who watched WWE not from the US

The Rock
Flair
Hogan
Taker

These are not my personal favorites but Im going from who people here were influenced with the most.

My personal favorites who were champions are gonna have to be (for singles) Taker, Bret, Mankind, Yokozuna

They definitely deserve a mention, though both are just a tier below in terms of Rushmore status.

Hulk Hogan
Ric Flair
Undertaker
Steve Austin

I think The Rock is getting plenty mentions but for his celebrity rise outside of the ring. His career in wrestling, while he was popular and good, never reached the heights of others.

Macho Man, Sting, Roddy Piper, HBK, Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, and some others need a hard look as well.

I loved Legion of Doom and Demolition, then there were The Rockers, The Hart Foundation, Steiner Brothers, etc.
