Solid win for Liverpool. Woeful error from Kepa. Not sure what he was thinking.

Probably about his next team.....
He won't be going anywhere with his wages. Sucks that his confidence got shattered after a poor season last year, he was a pretty promising prospect before he made the move to Chelsea.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
So, is it too early to say or we can finally say it?

Is James Rodriguez legit?

No what we can say is that Real completely failed to take advantage of his skills.

I am actually happy he found a way to get back after such a long time

That's basically Zizou in a nutshell, the amount of talent he's misused is incredible (and it isn't like James/Reguilon/Bale are Pogbas).

Oh he was. I meant in the Premier League.

We all know he had the talent, but he somehow failed to impress in Real Madrid, and in his loan spell at Bayern Munich. When he moved to Everton people question how effective he will be in the PL.

Everton is at the top of the table so far, mainly due to his play, hence I asked the somewhat rhetorical question.

on the other hand he won 3 consecutive CLs ... so he must know who to run a team

To be fair he did impress with Ancelotti in his first season at Madrid and he was alright at Bayern. Think he needed a system that would use him as a key cog in the offence more than anything - which Everton are doing rn.

Sounds much less impressive when you consider that he won those titles with a stacked squad that had prime Ronaldo up front and Bale as a super sub. Obviously he's not a bum manager, but it is concerning when you consider the players he didn't use well: they weren't headcases like Pogba and neither were they incredibly raw like KDB/Salah at Chelsea.

Sounds much more impressive when you consider that Messi's Barcelona probably the best team of all times didn't manage to go to the final 2 times in a row

but yeah .... no big deal.... anyone could have done it ...

Those were different eras, Messi's Barcelona had some legendary competition (eg. 2010 Inter Milan). What teams did Real face during their run were on that level?
