With preseason for most Premier League teams starting this week, what're your expectations for your favourite team this upcoming season? I'm pretty optimistic about Tottenham's chances this year , Hojberg is massive for our midfield.

I’m just praying Messi doesn’t end up at Man City. That would be a colossal bummer.

But as a Liverpool fan, I’m still coasting on the 2019-20 seasons joy ;D

You lot are getting Thiago and other quality signings so I don't see how would that be a problem

More just liking Messi and not liking Man City, but certainly not upset!

I wouldn't be either, I'd love to see City trying to compensate for Messi defensively with their already shaky defence lol.

Always been a Liverpool fan , hoping we can keep the team together for a solid title defense!

Yeah seems like the transfer fee Bayern is demanding will be a problem. At least you'll get him on a Bosman next offseason

Who's excited for the start of the season next weekend? Besides the big 6 making upgrades, teams like Everton have been making some incredible signings for a European push this year.

I am looking forward to seeing a new-look Chelsea team next season. They have made some terrific signings.

* Havertz is an amazing talent.
* I have been a big Ziyech fan for several years.
* Werner I have been lukewarm on in the past but he had a big season last year. Maybe a breakout year. More optimistic about him than I have ever been before.

Not convinced Lampard is the man to make this all work and bring titles to the club but ... at least he is a fun manager to who is promoting exciting football and playing the youth. So I am content with that even without titles.

Thoughts on signing Sarr on a Bosman? I think he's an exciting youth signing considering the cost, and yeah Chelsea look dangerous with their new signings.

The Doherty signing is massive for our defence, he's a class RB who can shore up our defence and upgrade our offence as a RWB in our lopsided back four. Signing him for 13-15 million pounds is an absolute steal when you consider his HG status.

I know little about Sarr. He sounds promising. Sounds a similar type of defender to Tomori from what I have heard. Quick, small, good on the ball.

Not sure he adds a great deal to the team. Looking forward to finding out though.
