With the end of the decade just days away, I couldn't help but wonder, while I was listening to music while cleaning the house, what everyone's favorite music was during the 2010's.

It can be a certain artist or album or song, it doesn't matter, just so long as it was made in the last decade.

For me, from earlier in the decade...Bruno Mars. He killed it.

Later in the decade...Ed Sheeren, he is amazing.

Adele was pretty awesome too.

John Legend's All of Me might be my favorite song of the decade as it holds a special place in my heart.

A couple of foreign language songs I loved that you can dance to: Luis Fonsi with Daddy Yankee doing Despacito and Don Omar withDanza Kuduro.

Carly Rae Jepson might have had the funnest song of the decade with Call Me Maybe.

And I think the best album I heard this decade was probably Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

What's your favorite music of the decade?

I may be in the relative minority but I loved Radiohead’s 2011 album The King of Limbs. A Moon Shaped Pool as well.

Love D’angelo’s Black Messiah too.

Mostly nothing - outside of perhaps a few Bruno Mars cuts. Maybe a few others.

Stuck - unapologetically - in the 70s and 80s.

I'll go with some Eurobeat tracks that came out in the 2010s, I prefer the older ones but there were some decent tracks in this decade:

When the Sun Goes Down (Ken Blast)

Limousine (Manuel)

1, 2, 3, 4 Fire! (Dejo)

Wheelpower & Go (Dejo & Bon)

The Top (Ken Blast)

1 Fire (Dave Rodgers)

Tearful Eyes (Les)

Dancing On The Street (David Dima)

Magic Sunday (Dave Rodgers)

The Jungle Is On Fire (J Stark)

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Tonight (Annalise)

As I said these are only the Eurobeat tracks produced during this decade that I found decent to listen to, I really miss the old 80s/90s/00s Eurobeat.

Since I'm culturally illiterate, these kinds of lists are always tough for me.
Assuming I can't list reissues, here are the new albums that I bought in the 2010's

Weezer- White Album
Mark Knopfler- Privateering
Neil Young & Crazy Horse- Psychedelic Pill
Bob Dylan Tempest
Painting With Animal Collective
The Ferryman's Curse- The Strawbs
The Decemberists- I'll Be Your Girl
Offa Rex- The Queen of Hearts

I don't listen to a whole lot of newer music, but I'll throw in a few:

The Black Keys - Turn Blue (and to a lesser degree, El Camino and "Let's Rock")

Wolfmother - Victorious

Foo Fighters - Wasting Light

Honorable mention to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I wasn't a huge fan of their last two albums but I went to their last two tours and they still rock. I'll second Bruno Mars and Adele, too
I'm bitter.

Me too, especially in the 80s! (and I'm only 38)

But if I had to pick a few musicians/bands I liked from this decade, here goes:

-Foster the People
-Taylor Swift
-Taio Cruz
-Kesha
-Justin Beiber
-Pitbull
-Imagine Dragons
-Usher (even though he broke on the scene in the 2000s)

no apologies needed.  I'm stuck there with you and happy to be there.

only stuff in the 2010's I would listen to is whatever the Foo Fighters put out and some Adele stuff.  Other than that, there's maybe a handful of songs by various artists that I've liked but basically no artist on a consistent basis.

Can add Tame Impala’s Currents, everything Kendrick Lamar has done, all Kamasi Washington.

Big Thief put out two albums in the last year or so that are both great.

Well, besides listening to old standbys like The Grateful Dead and Phish, I listen to a lot of new-age reggae these days. Just to list a few of them here:

Fortunate Youth
Rebelution
Stick Figure
Hirie
The Movement
KBong
SOJA

And then there is Tash Sultana, she just a one woman wrecking crew and a genre all to her own. Here's a small sample of her in her glory at Lollapalooza...

MBTDF by Kanye is not only the album of the decade, but probably the best of the past 25 years.

The Suburbs - Arcade Fire
Torches - Foster the People
GKMC - Kendrick Lamar
Plastic Beach - Gorillaz
Impossible Kid - Aesop Rock
Different Kind Of Fix - Bombay Bicycle Club
XXX - Danny Brown
Nothing Was the Dame - Drake
Recovery - Eminem
Kiss Eachother Clean - Iron & Wine
Man On the Moon 2 - Kid Cudi
Tetsuo and Youth - Lupe Fiasco
Daytona - Pusha T
Oxymoron - Schoolboy Q
Tourist History - Two Door Cinema Club

Are some other albums that will be considered classics. Nothing compared to the 90’s/2000’s where it seemed like an all time great album was coming out like every 6 months.
