Memphis has to be really bad to lose to this Wizards team.

While blowouts are fun in their own right, I think the team would've benefitted more from a more competitive game, especially this early in the season with how many new guys we have.

We're getting sloppy now and playing lazily with some of these iso threes.

Haha, let the guys do their thing and enjoy it. They already scrapped through two tough, close games. You have to be able to beat up on bad opponents to get through a season without making life unnecessarily hard on yourself.
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

TP.

If this was competitive, people would complain that we're playing down to our opponents level. Let the top 6 handle their business and rest in the 4th.

Tp agree.  This Wizards team is not making the cs better.  I do agree though they need to get back to playing team basketball.  JB was so hot though so they rode him out.

What I love to see - 3 games so far and each time we have had different guys going off.  Game 1 it was Tatum and Porzingis with 30 apiece, Game 2 it was White with 28, and now tonight Brown is killing it.  I love this dynamic - so many dangerous scorers that opposing teams need to try to guard, I feel like there will always be someone having a big night.

Also very happy to see Brown bouncing back these last two games and really looking good.  Good on him!

I agree. Games like this also allow us to play the bench more which would be good for their development.

I agree.  One thing I have been frustrated with about this team in the past is the tendency to beat good teams and then slacken off and get blown out by garbage teams.

If this team is serious about winning a championship then they should be going for the throat every single night.  In weak matchups like this it SHOULD be a blowout.

I thought we got a little lazy in the second quarter at times.  It was fine because Jaylen is hot and the Wizards are the Wizards, but I'd like to see us defend and attack the basket a little better in the third quarter.  Twelve minutes of discipline probably salts this one.

Gotta say it’s fun watching the Cs crush the Wiz.
