I would love to see more of Gabriel tom. I would not be surprised if he leapfrogs Kornet as the 3rd big. Luke just seems so limited at this point.

Yeah, I was hoping to see him play today. Hopefully he gets in the game tomorrow.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Regarding the bench guys, Pritchard was fantastic. Brissett looked good. Hauser looked ok, Kornet was awful.

Yeah, that’s was my take too.  Brissett looked quite viable.  Hauser couldn’t make a shot (and honestly didn’t get many great looks), but was active defensively.  Pritchard was obviously terrific and looks like a classic bench volume scorer.  I think he can finally get the real role he’s been seeking.  And I’d cut Kornet.  The play that did it for me was sometime in the first half someone (I forget who) set him up right in front of the rim, and he airballed a virtually uncontested shot from four feet, leaving it embarrassingly short.  From four feet.  I’m just done with him.  It’s four on five on offense when he’s out there, and while he’s okay on defense, he’s nowhere near good enough to be that much of an offensive liability.

Hopefully we see Gabriel tomorrow.

They got plenty to work on in terms of polish but I like the shape of what they are building. They have a lot of flexibility to show teams some different looks and I like the new additions, both the hyped ones and the lesser lights. I think the chemistry will grow over time. Excited for the coming season  :police:

I think Boston needs to start

White
Holiday
Brown
JT
KP

We really need Al off the bench as the big. That cannot be Kornet. Also seems PP is capable of spelling White and Holiday as needed. Makes more sense to play the 2 guard line up.

A second unit of PP and Al is a ton better than PP and Kornet.

Redick stinks.

He was a home boy for me , watched him play HS ball.  I liked him better as a player , than a sports commentator. Find him very biased and a diva .

So , to me this team just needs to practice and get to know each better .  Overall the stars look more comfortable and less stressed about their roles.

Guys that were dropped from the team had such up and down games .  Smart being the worse , hero one game , DPY next , then making awful passes, turrible shots , killing momentum. This kind of ball seemed to deflate the team  Steady ball play from your guards and big men staying healthy on the court leads to a happy team .

Having offense from a big man , it s been so long . Sure feels right.

I was not at all excited about the season prior to the Holliday trade. I figured this team to struggle to get close to last year's win total. But that's now out the window.

With Holiday I really, really like the potential of this team. They need Joe to do his job and ultimately to figure out which of their slew of bench guys can be rotation regulars to best compliment their top 6. They also (of course) need to stay healthy.

But I'm excited that Holiday could very well be their missing ingredient. Brad's early grade for assembling this roster is a straight A.
