  • "Love is the soul of a true Irishman"
so i'm trying to put together a playlist of all the songs played at the garden during games, so far i've come up with this:

guns n' roses - welcome to the jungle
boston - more than a feeling
dropkick murphys - shipping up to boston
u2 - sunday bloody sunday
clint mansell - lux aeterna (intro movie)
justin timberlake - she wants it (instrumental)

i know there are more but for the life of me i can't think of any, if anyone can, do share.

  • Let's Go Celtics
The Celtics Blog on Boston.com ran a piece with a pretty thorough playlist.  I just tried to find it for you but couldn't, if you poke around that site  for awhile you can probably find it.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

  • What a Pub Should Be
They've also been playing some "Bang Camero" during the games.

If you haven't checked them out, they're a rockin' band.

I know they played Sweet Caroline during game 2. People didn't get into it the way they do over at Fenway...

Great thread, CM -- TP for starting it!  Definitely answered a few questions I'd had about the Garden DJ's picks...really loved the video montage they played to the Phil Collins song at Game 2 of the Finals...have they been using that all year for when the team comes out of the locker room?  It was great...
