What is CROTOR? I keep seeing that label..ejumacate me ;D

A couple of years ago, someone did a run by, juice Celtics rumor.

The finishing statement was along the lines of this.

"This has been confirmed by CROTOR."

Of course the community snagged on to this statement leading to one of the longest running joke on this site.

Ok so CROTOR doesn't stand for anything per se...I'm so used to military terminology and when I saw those letters like that, I thought they stood for something.

No worries and thanks.

To this day, no one really knows what it means.  There have been threads on "Guess what CROTOR means"

That's why it is still popular.

hey Nick.  In the other rules thread I agree with your paragraph that you post aggressively yadda yadda and I wouldn't really have it any other way.

I admit I didn't love the name switch thing, but there are way way bigger problems in the world and I seriously doubt you woke up in the morning and thought "Gee I'd really like to tick off a lot of people at CB".

Worse comes to worse you made a mistake. Oh the horror! A mistake! On a blog! That's never happened before.

The only thing as of the moment I am curious about is the thing where you said people treated you different when they thought you were staff. Would you care to elaborate? If you'd rather pm, that's fine by me and if you don't want to elaborate at all I'll just get over it.

Lookit. I just got back from Roy's house, and me and him and wdleehi and fafnir and dons and edgar and Chris and Jeff all had a talk before our weekly blood brothers recommitment ceremony and we agree all this this is getting a touch ridiculous. Also, Fafnir once again forgot to bring the mac salad. For the love of god, Faf.

I knew this went on. I feel like the uncool kid in high school.

Meanwhile Redz gets the Zoidberg treatment and is left out on the front steps wondering what all the cool Mods are doing in there.
